It is the custom of Visitation monasteries and was keenly desired by our founder, St. Francis, that each monastery offer retreats to women from all walks of life. We keep a guest room for this purpose. We also offer retreat opportunities through St. Jane House.
Women are welcome for a day or weekend of recollection and retreat with the opportunity to pray the Liturgy of the Hours with the Sisters and to join us for meals.
Married or single lay women and women religious have found the silence and prayerful atmosphere of the monastery very conducive to their inner growth and worship of the Lord.
